I know, nothing huge happened to me, but all the little things were adding up and I wasn't sure I was going to make it.
But things happen when you start to do the right thing.
On Friday, December 7, 2012 I found out the greatest news of my college career. I made it as a member of the A-Team!
For those of you who don't know, A-Team is a mentoring program that Utah State has put together. New students have to come to the University for something called SOAR (Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration) during this time we want them to make some friends, and be able to ask any questions they may have. This is where A-Team comes in.
I'm so thrilled I can't even hardly contain it.
The people on this team are so kind and so ready to just be really good friends with you.
But here comes Sunday and I have been studying my guts out for my biology test.
I'm stressing out and I don't even know it. Then my WONDERFUL relief society president just comes over and gives me a hug because as she said, "She could tell there was something up with me"
I didn't even know there was something up with me.
but she did. and she let me talk and cry and hug her until I could get control of myself.
I am grateful for the people in my life that are so in tune with the spirit.
I need people like that.
