Oh Yeah

I have the greatest friends a girl could ask for.

Let me tell you why.

Sunday night I was just minding my own business messing around on Facebook. All of the sudden I see this this message in the middle of the screen "Michael is Calling You"

So what do I do? Click Accept of course! But I forgot my webcam wasn't plugged in...

I run to my desk, plug my webcam in and accept the call.

To my great surprise I didn't just see one face staring out at me from my computer, but three!

The boys. For that is what I call them. (Lovingly of course.)

I didn't realize how much I missed those awesome kids.

We just talked and laughed, and laughed and talked.

I needed them.

I hope we do that more often.

It's the Weekend!

Another week of my College career has come and gone.

But the weekend it what I really want to post about. (Because week days are boring and just filled with school.)

This weekend was Senior Night for the Men's Basketball team. I went with a friend, and met some of his friends while we were there.

They were awesome! We went and ate some pizza and talked, then went to one of their apartment's and talked some more.

Then I realized it was nearing the wee hours of the morning. (It was about 1:30. Oops :/ ) So we walked to my friend's apartment to get his keys so he could take me home. (What a guy.)

Saturday rolls around and I have a fun filled day planned! :) haha not really. But it turns out that way!

Relief Society Activities = food and crafts. Always.

Then me and Kenz decide to have a life and go out to lunch and watch a movie with her BFF from high school. (did I just use BFF? Yes I guess I did...)

We saw The Muppets. Brilliant Movie. (Well, the best part of the whole movie was when we saw Jim from The Office. Yes, I do know his real name is John. I just like calling him Jim. Let's just say me and Kenz about fainted when we saw him on the screen.)

Then Kenz decides to leave me and go hang out with her friends (But its alright. I'll get over it eventually.)

So I decide to contact some of my friends. (They just happen to be the same ones that I was spending time with on Friday night.)

I go over to his apartment to watch the Dunk contest. (That was cool.) Then we get bored so we decide to find something awesome to do in the TSC. Too bad we got kicked out as soon as we step foot in there. So what do we do? Go watch TV and hang out.

Fun. Because it's always better to be boring with other people than be boring by yourself! :)

Big Night

I went on a date last night. 

With an RM! 

It was scary. 

But it turned out super fun!

Kenz decided she was going to ask me to go on a date with one of her friends. (He texted her and asked her if she had any cute friends. I guess I qualify.)

So I started getting ready. The date was at 7:30 and I was in sweats and a t-shirt until around 6:45. 

But then I realized I was having practically the best hair day ever. Just see for yourself. 

Its amazing. I know...

Anyways.

He picked me up, the truck almost didn't start, he gave me a cloth flower, we ate ice cream sundaes, played "what's yours like?", played Texas Hold 'Em, and talked about missions. 

It was great. 

But I'm still afraid of RM's. 

A little bit. 

Mine

I seriously think I post about my friends all of the time! But I guess that is what college is all about!

Today I was in charge of getting cookies for our relief society activity tonight and I was worried we weren't going to have enough. Turns out there were PLENTY. There were 48 cookies and only about 10 people showed up so we had cookies coming out our ears.

Jolly good times were had. We laughed, we frosted things, we ate cookies, and then we went on our merry way. Fantastic.

Then I get this super cryptic text from a good friend "Text me when you can" So here I am thinking this is uber important so I text back right away (which I do anyways because that is my BIGGEST pet peeve-when people don't I mean-) and then she says this, "I'm bored, Want to come visit (insert name of our friend here-I don't like using names except with permission) with me?

I have a test tomorrow so what do I do?

Say yes of course!!

So we go visit. We talk, we laugh, they draw, we watch him play video games (thrilling activity. BTW), we laugh some more.

And then alas it is getting late and we must get home.

But truly. Friends are amazing. And I'm so glad I have mine.

Aliens Exist

Take me, night time driving, Kenzie, and no directions. What do you get?

LOST.

Yep. On the way home from my fantastic weekend at home I got lost.

Okay. Not really lost, but we went all the way into Pocatello, and then went down into Logan. It took forever, and I was pretty sure we were going to die. (There was flashing red lights and we thought they were aliens.)

Now I'm pretty convinced there are aliens outside of Pocatello.

Evidence:

1. As we got closer to the flashing lights, Kenz's computer paused the music with the program not even up. Scary.

2. Then she was trying to get a video of the flashing lights her phone shut off.

We were pretty scared. And super glad to get home even though it took us 6 hours instead of 4 1/2.

On a completely different note...Today is Valentine's Day!

And I got nothing.

Its a little sad being alone on Valentine's.

But that's alright. Tomorrow is a new day! Maybe I'll get a date sometime.

hmm...maybe with that cute guy in my class! I'll have to work on that.

I Believe.

Everything happens for a reason.

I'm pretty sure everybody has heard that saying. And I'm pretty sure its true.

Heavenly Father has a plan for me. And he knows me personally.

This has been a hard month. I've had some people disappoint me, some self-evaluating, and things that opened my eyes.

But I've also had some wonderful things happen in my life this month.

I've let the Gospel touch me in a way I never thought possible. I have opened my heart and I am truly coming to know Heavenly Father. I love him, and I KNOW without a doubt he knows me.

Otherwise...

He wouldn't have put me in the place I am in, with the people I am with.

I have made a great new friend this week. She is my Relief Society president and I admit, I was intimidated to get to know her. I mean she just just so GOOD! It never ceases to amaze me. But I gave it a shot and we spent some time together on Friday night and I am so glad. I know she is going to be a great friend to me, and she was an answer to a prayer.

I am so grateful for my classes. I have made great friends in my Shakespeare class. We have  a group that gets together to read the plays and it is so fun! I love meeting friends with common interests. Its great. :)

and I am pretty sure I've made  a new friend that will stay with me forever. It is my Savior. Its cheesy to say out here for all the world to see, but maybe I can touch somebody with my testimony.

I know He loves me and He will ALWAYS be there for me. No matter what.
